Prom Season

So I was creepy-mc-creepin blogs today and saw not one but TWO prom themed posts and wanted to hop on this! The first blog was my dear sisters (Everything Little Miss)! The other one was Carrots 'n' Cake. Everyone looks so pretty especially my sister but then again she is a betty! So here are my prom photos...

My freshman years of high school I went to prom!
I loved this dress and wore it to a dance every year of high school!
Thank goodness I went to dances at other schools haha

This is a photo of my sister doing my make up for my senior prom

My mom and I made my dress! The back was my favorite part!

The tall guy on the right is one of my best friends and was my date to the prom.

This is a photo from college prom which happened just this past weekend!
My friend looks like a goob but I like the photo anyway!

love is in the air

Being single on Valentines day can be tough but eff that noise! I spent the day making cards for the people I love!! So I was able to make the cards with a little help from my lovely mom. She took the photos below and I just drew on the for fun! As you can see some cards got a little more than others...not that I don't love all my friends but family wins when it come to crafting fun cards, sorry kids!

Also on Valentines day I got all dressed up and went out to eat with 5 of my lady friends. After dinner we changed into pjs and sat around one of our friends apartments to sip on cheap wine and giggle! Then I met up with another group of friends and had cupcakes and tea and watched the epic movie zombieland! (which if you haven't seen it see it!)

The two photos above were taken and drawn on by me!! Hope everyone had a supreme Valentine's day and got to tell all the people they care about that they love them!

Peace. Love. & Hula Hoops!!!

oooo-tah

(Photo taken from Hannah's apartment window in Park City as sunset)
So I went to Utah! So my trip consisted of a TON of walking! I probably walked an average 2 to 3 hours a day except the day I was in SLC when I took a nice walk for 6 hours. OK so besides walking I also went sledding, visited Olympic Park, went to a hockey game, visited Sundance, and went to a zoo!
Solder Hill, Midway Utah

Olympic Park, Park City Utah
Sundance, Utah
Hogle Zoo, Salt Lake City Utah

All those adventures does not included all the little shops I wondered into or the parks I visited. Over all the trip was very very low key. It was a very interesting experience and I'm so happy I went. To end this post here is a picture from my plane ride home, for more photos of my adventure check out my fabulous flickr! hahaha Peace Love and Hula Hoops!!!

I love sunsets on the plane!!!

Utah Preview

On Dec 30 I left for my grand Utah adventure! Why Utah? Well my best friend recently moved here so I decided to come have a look! She lives in Park City which is pretty much a city built around a ski resort haha. It's very lovely and I've been having a lot of fun!

Most of my days consist of me walking around by myself taking pictures and reading my book because Hannah (my friend) has to work pretty much everyday. I don't mind because the area is just lovely and I love just walking around making my own little discoveries. But I'm telling too much because this is supposed to just be a preview of my adventure because I'm actually still here! I won't be returning home till the 13!

Here is a photo I took at Sundance! It was so lovely up there! It was a little rainy that day but I feel it only enhanced the surroundings. One observation while being here are the natural colors are mostly blue so when the rain came it brought this beautiful baby blue fog...amazing!

Anywho I thought I should post something of my adventure because two important events in the past 48 hours have made my truely appreciate life and the fact that I take these adventures. A kid I went to high school with and whom I also considered a friend died yesterday. He was one of those kids you never saw without a smile. He was truly an amazing person and it is so hard and unbelievable to think I will never see him again. The second and more joyful is today is Hannah's 22nd birthday and I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to celebrate her life with her in a new place. It's times like these that we young people really get a taste of reality and if nothing more it inspires me to follow my heart and desires. And like Sean I plan to wear my smile often.

Here is a picture from Solider Hill. It is a picture of a sunset I took a couple of days ago, a picture that I would like to dedicate to Sean Williams who died January 10, 2010.
